We are an independent, family run Funeral Director serving all areas of Stockport and Greater Manchester.
We are a true family business, owned and run by the Ollerenshaw family of Stockport we have two generations of Ollerenshaw’s serving the communities of Stockport and Greater Manchester.
We believe that saying goodbye to a loved one should not be a financial burden, but we also believe that the quality and dignity of service should not be compromised. With this in mind Memories Funeral Service was founded.

Paul Marshall5 StarI cannot recommend Memories Funeral service enough. Simon and Helen went above and beyond for our family. The care and attention given not only to Ian but to our family also. Their support to us personally meant so much and this will be something that will stay with us always. The respect given to us when visiting Ian at the chapel was both reassuring and comforting. Helen helped my mum and sister during the visit and also the service, this was very much appreciated. Cathy Gordon, the celebrant, put us very much at ease and reflected Ian's life perfectly. The way she put it together was amazing. The support from all at Memories from the first phone call to the funeral service was comforting, reassuring and respectful. Ann Tomlinson5 StarAbsolutely recommend Memories, a caring and professional family run business. Our brother lived in Wales and passed away suddenly. From our first call to Memories, Helen, Dave and Simon took care of everything. He was brought home to Stockport and looked after by these lovely people.
Their support was amazing and the personal and special touches they added like the Man Utd themed order of service, flowers and funeral service itself were just wonderful. Danielle, the celebrant was lovely and conducted a perfect service.
Memories, we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts, you really are special and in our opinion the best.
