We are a stand-alone preschool which has been open for over 50 years since 1967. We offer high quality childcare to parents of children aged from 2 years to 4 years and 11 months old.
We provide the following (please check availability)
2 year old funding, available for some children from the term after their 2nd birthday. (allocated by the LA) this consists of 15 hours a week which with us can be used either: 5 mornings 9am-12pm or 5 afternoons 1pm-4pm. 3+4 year old universal funding which is available for all children from the term after their third birthday - this consists of 15 hours per week which with us can be used either: 5 mornings 9am-12pm or 5 afternoons 1pm-4pm 30 hour extended entitlement, available for children of working parents, from the term after their third birthday, the 30 hours a week which can be used from 9am-3pm Monday to Friday. Additional hours can be added e.g, parents may pay for the hour 8-9, 12-1 (with a packed lunch) and 3-4 in the cases of the 30 hour entitlement.
All extra hours are booked and therefore payable for a full term to allow for staffing ratios.

Emma Leigh5 StarBoth my children and now my niece have been to this preschool and I would recommend it to anyone! The aunties are amazing and love all the children they are looking after and helping get ready for school. Kids come on in leaps and bounds here there is always so much for them to do and learn the setting provides such a safe and happy environment for them to do this.Monday 12th September 2022

But from start to finish from my little boy joining this preschool, the staff have been nothing short of amazing.
They are very understanding and always listen to your opinions or concerns!
My little boy was heartbroken leaving this preschool as his best friends and best aunties were not coming with him. They made the transition to primary school very smooth and reassuring.
We will miss all the staff and children very much!

The staff are wonderful and supported both my children through many stages of development in a lovely nurturing environment, staff are always incredibly caring and encouraging.
Both children have always been so happy and excited to go to pre-school which speaks volumes about the atmosphere that the staff created for the children.
They are always doing fun activities and kept really busy, there routines are well respected and the feedback is constant and informative.
I would thoroughly recommend MIlnrow-pre-school, with staff who really go the extra mile and genuinely care for the children's best interests.Thursday 8th September 2022
