Similar story to the last reviewer - was locked out with a Yale lock locked from the inside - was quoted £59.95 on the phone. When the locksmith looked at it said he had to drill it out and that would cost £110 plus VaT as a ‘ specialist service’ - didn’t have a choice as had guests staying. It literally took 3 minutes as the lock was destroyed and no repair work… where the extra £50 came from I have no idea On the plus side he did arrive very promptly and waited as we we returned home.

I am disabled and my front door closed behind me (not locked) on a cold, dark and wet evening. I needed my medication urgently and I was quoted £60 plus VAT. A locksmith arrived inside 30 minutes and that's when the cowboy charade began. He took a glance at the lock- told me I was under quoted - without asking what I was quoted. He said it would require specialist service - at £120. I told him the quote I had received- that I was disabled and needed medication. He shrugged and said if I didn't pay him £120 - he would drill the door open and that would cost me alot more or he could leave and I could ring 999 for my medication. He took advantage of a vulnerable person and forced me to pay the £120 and I watched him take a tiny allen key from his back pocket - popped into the lock and opened the door in a breeze. This was the specialist service!. In my opinion this was what I was originally quoted. If he had to get extra equipment or indeed use extra energy such as a using a drill - I could understand the extra charge. I've contacted their 'customer service' with zero response. Please, please avoid this company.
