Is originally from the north of Thailand Chiang Rai in a rural village called Theong a Agricultural village where their Main income is from growing sticky rice.
Noks Love of food
Nok enjoys home cooking and learnt a lot of her cooking skills from her Mother and older sister P’Khon .
Moving to the UK
Nok moved to the UK in 2008 With her husband Steven and worked her way up ranks in her local Thai restaurants before opening her own restaurant in 2015 on the inspiration of street food.
Why Street Food
Nok and Steven have traveled throughout Thailand together but they always like returning to the bustling streets of Bangkok, their favorite city and their favorite place to eat is Chinatown which they say offers the best of Thai street food.

Sumyra Ihsan3 StarEverything tastes extremely sweet. I feel that I have just eaten a scary amount of sugar. Many of the dishes would be nicer if the sugar content was dialed back and some sour/acidic, spicy and umami elements were allowed to come through for a more balanced, complicated flavour. I guess some people do enjoy very sugary East-Asian foods but, it is not for me.Thursday 28th October 2021
