The new trailer training accreditation scheme aims to ensure drivers who want to tow a trailer for leisure or business have the skills, knowledge, and competencies to tow safely. And for those towing a trailer in connection with their work, to help ensure an employer’s corporate responsibilities to make sure safe working practices are met.
Towing a trailer or caravan is something a lot of people can feel comfortable doing with just a little training and practice.
Whether you’re new to towing or need to build your confidence or you are a more experienced tower wanting to give your skills a boost, we have a caravan/ trailer course to suit your needs. (you can use one of our cars and trailers or you can use your own)

William Davies4 StarDecided I needed to skill up before picking up my new much larger trailer. Despite having been given the codes on my licence to tow a large trailer I'd never done it before and thought it would be a good idea to get some expert tuition to reduce the chance of getting myself stuck. I chose the 6hr package to cover all the aspects. It was a good day and I learned a lot. The instructor had a lot of patience with me as it's been over 25 years since I had any professional instruction. Because I was weak at roundabouts there wasn't as much time to practice reversing but it was right to concentrate on the area of greater risk. It was definitely worth doing the course and I'd recommend anyone not familiar towing a trailer take one.Friday 3rd February 2023
