Built in 1893, the Old Bulls Head is one of the oldest pubs in Eccles with fantastic transport links thanks to the nearby metrolink, bus and train station. The central bar serves the lounge on one side and vault on the other, with a pleasant beer garden out to the back.

It’s a friendly local pub where you can be sure to get a great quality pint of lager, conditioned cask ale or bottled beer. There’s a good choice of spirits and wines to choose from too.

The Old Bulls Head is a good place to catch all live sports with plenty of TVs showing Sky Sports and BT. There’s also a good range of entertainment to choose from with a pool table and a jukebox.

We have live music every Friday from 4pm and every Saturday we have karaoke from 6pm till late!

First time visiting Eccles and popped in with a few family members. Traditional pub, with a nice atmosphere. Music is jukebox which is good for choice. The lady behind the bar was friendly and the beer was decent. Will visit again next time in Eccles!

Pint of Holt's Black at a fair price (2.11) on Feb 3 this year. Interesting people coming and going. The bar beautiful to look at. Probably spending an hour or two in there (last week of March 2015), working on a new project, working the most promising characters and their best lines into a piece of prose to add to my eBook titles on amazon/kindle. A pub without stories is a graveyard ... the Old Bulls Head isn't.
