Went for Sunday lunch yesterday on the basis of all the four and five star reviews. What a mistake that was . Both the beef and turkey weren’t “ roast dinners “ at all . They were both slices of meat like you buy for sandwiches and warmed up using warm gravy . Think I could sue them under the trades description act . The roast potatoes were rock hard and the vegetables were mainly made up of half a plate of frozen peas . I think they could do with a chef in the kitchen and not someone who just opens packets and warms things up . The Guinness was nice .

Great pub. Really nice staff and food is fantastic. Really good varied menu and reminded me of some homemade meals. Really enjoyed it and will be going back.

Dined but didn't stay. The staff are friendly and helpful, a good selection of food available including a specials board Food is good and good value. We return quite regularly.

Stayed here as attended a wedding in New Mills. Beautiful well appointed bedroom and great breakfast. Will definitely be back.
