Kim Richardson2 StarBooked a taxi yesterday afternoon for a journey to Piccadilly station this morning for a train journey to London. Booked for 9.15. Taxi eventually turned up at 9.30 and then driver announced after we'd already set off that the credit card machine wasn't working and we would have to pay cash. Fortunately we had enough cash but what would have happened if we hadn't.. a further delay to call at a cash machine?
Just moved back to Urmston and this was our first experience of a local taxi firm. Won't be using them again!Thursday 7th October 2021
