This shop is a jewel. I received a very friendly welcome and I spent quite a time looking at the extensive range of fabrics with no pressure. The shop is light and airy, even on a dismal February day. The layout is very well done to make the most of the comprehensive fabric collections. There is a good choice of wadding and a very wide selection of tools and notions well displayed. All this and parking too ! !

I have visited this shop on three occasions and sadly have never found the staff very friendly, helpful nor enthusiastic. I have pieced a quilt for my granddaughter and wanted some advice as to the backing and wadding. I felt as though I was being a nuisance, and I would have liked the staff - most of whom disappeared when I walked in - to show a little more interest in what I was trying to achieve. There do not seem to be many such shops in my area, and before this very well equipped shop opened I contacted a shop online who were marvellous. I like to support local shops but sadly on this this occasion it was not a success.

Fabulous fabric selection and extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Always willing to chat and help with fabric choices for a project. Also hosts great seeing courses pn patchwork and quilting with really goid tutors who help everyone to complete their project without feeling rushed. One of my favourite places!
