From the minute we walked in to the spacious showroom ,acknowledged and allowed to browse we felt we were well served. The whole process of buying a new bed was done with a friendly yet professional manner.. Delivery of the bed and removal of the old one was highly efficient and done in a pleasant manner. Information concerning care and maintenance of the mattress was passed on with simple instructions.Thanks Simon and Thank you Pear Mill ……..we certainly recommend and are happy to use you again…

If all goes to plan, you will end up with some good looking furniture, if there are any issues then expect some shocking customer service. I've knocked 3 stars off, not because things went wrong because they do, but because they were not handled as you would expect a professional business to handle them. I spent £2300 on multiple items, 1 item was delivered faulty, it was a tall set of drawers and two of the drawers were catching as the rails were not fitted in the correct position. It was swapped out with a new one a few weeks later and the second one had a different fault, the screws for the handles were too long meaning when the screws were fully tightened, the handles were still loose. I was told to visit the store at 11am where I would be given new handles/screws. I turned up at 11am to blank stares as nobody knew I was coming and the guy I was meeting wasn't there. I had to remove the handles myself from a display model. I was called later to ask if they could collect my old handles as they needed them. There are a few issues here: 1. If you are swapping out faulty kit, you should make sure the replacement is 100% correct before handing it over. 2. You should not expect your customer to have to visit the showroom to fix the issue. 3. If you could come to me to collect the old handles, why did I have to come to you to collect the new ones. 4. The only appology I had was for the original issue. The experience makes you think they are more about pushing product out of the door and not really prepared or bothered to handle issues. I will end this by saying, we eventually got everything working and it looks great.

Me and my partner Julie made two visits to Pear Mill last week choosing sofas and beds. We were looked after very well by Wendy and Suzanne who were knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. An enjoyable shopping experience and we would recommend this outlet to others.
