Platt Bridge Community Centre is central to life in Wigan. On most days of the week, organisations of all types use it for a wide range of activities - everything from full council run support groups to table tennis, big groups, small groups, leisure activities and meetings. The centre is conveniently situated for access by public transport. There is a large car park and full disabled access throughout.
Platt Bridge Community Centre has impressive facilities that can be reserved in any combination, subject to availability. Main Hall Licensed for up to 100 people for meetings and events. This large room has access to the kitchen, via a serving hatch. Seating and tables can be set out in any arrangement. This space is ideal for dance, aerobics, yoga, pilates, reading, sports, exhibitions and other large or small functions and events. There is also access to a cloakroom and disabled toilets. The hall is also equiped with a Bluetooth sound system for classes and events requiring audio.
