Do not deal with these frauds been trying to get hold of them for skip payment for over 3weeks keep promising payment and then no answer absolute joke of a company. Ring and pay or drop money and I will remove the review

Q&S Building and landscaping were the first to respond to my job and arranged to come out immediately to quote. Maqsood had a look around and knew the prices there and then to give me a quote straight away. The price was very fair and much cheaper than one I had received from another local company. I received an email quote and contract in writing that evening which was very efficient and I booked straight away for the job to start 2 weeks later. Everything started off very well but we did hit delays due to the terrible weather, although every project I have done on my house has had delays so this was not a surprise to me. There were a couple of days they were scheduled to come and didn't so to make up for this Q&S volunteered to cover the cost of some extra pebbles I wanted for the sides which I had agreed to pay for, this was a very kind and unexpected gesture for delays which were not entirely their fault. Q&S were always a pleasure to deal with, polite and efficient. Maqsood always came to deal with the deliveries, sent invoices straight away to confirm payment receipts and always replied promptly. Everything we had agreed on was completed, even extras like unscrewing my greenhouse base open, moving a shed, removing an old gate attached to the fence, some sticky out metal bits from the fence posts and add a bit of extra fencing where there was a gap. They left everything spotless - even cleaned the driveway of dust, I will hire them again for my driveway next year.

Mr maqsood came and gave me a reasonable quote for flagging, installation of composite decking, turfing a lawn and creating a seating area. His quote was reasonable. However he quoted 2 weeks to finish the job. It took over two months! (And counting) And since then he has left. I have tried to contact him a number of times as he hasn’t finished off the finishing of the flags, he hasn’t fixed the lighting in the decking and a few other bits. Closer inspection revealed that the flags are all not level. We have puddles of water gathering. He also made us buy the composite decking ourselves as he couldn’t source the one that was promised so we ended up paying more and also asked us to pay upfront for an unfinished job. I had to beg me maqsood to keep coming and finish off the job but he had other jobs which took priority. Weeks would pass with false promises and excuses. As he is now ignoring My messages I have had to pay extra and will get someone else to finish off the job. Also the decking underneath the ground wasn’t sealed and already weeds are starting to grow a few weeks later. I would definitely NOT hire this tradesman again and would urge others to pay slightly more for a better job. If anyone wants to get in touch and see pictures I would be willing to show.
