The Railway Inn is a small and cosy tavern-like pub tucked away on Lapwing Lane, West Didsbury. Full of atmosphere and community spirit, the Railway has a number of smaller rooms, snug areas within the open-plan lounge area. The pub is a popular and friendly choice for all, even the dog.
The central wood-panelled bar serves a range of well-priced beers, lagers and cask ales on tap, plus a great selection of bottled beer, whiskeys and premium spirits. Teas and coffees are served throughout the day.
The Railway is a top place for live music where you can regularly check out up and coming bands on a monthly basis. It’s also great on match days with a number of large TVs showing Sky and BT Sports. Don’t forget to join us for our pub quiz – relaunching on Tuesday 7th September.

Stella was lovely and helpful, putting the football on for my boyfriend and getting all of our drinks. Everyone in the pub was lovely and in great spirits. Moodlinmoodoon Potuggal5 StarCame in a while back and haven’t been back in till tonight because we were going for food down the road, I don’t know if they have changed the beers but tasted amazing I had a bitter and my wife had a gold I think.

Anthony Thorne5 StarWe called in to the Railway Inn for a couple of drinks before getting some food, across the road, whilst in the area on business. Upon meeting we Stella we couldn't wait to return and spent until closing drinking weird beer and listening to the juke box. The evening was one of the best i've had in ages in a cracking little pub.
