I have been the Manager at Ramillies Nursery since 2017, having previously worked in Early Years and in KeyStage 1 for approximately 20 years. I have a BA Hons degree in Childhood and Youth  Studies which underpins my experience of working with a wide range of families and children. Ramillies Hall Nursery is family run and we always think of ourselves as being like a large family with the aim of creating a ‘home from home’ for the children in our care. We have created a nurtu... Why Choose Ramillies? The right nursery for you will be based on what feels right for you and your family, which you’ll only know from visiting, but from our experience, Ramillies hits the mark. Straight away we noticed that Ramillies staff cover a wide age range which we found to be unusual vs other nurseries in the area. It was important to us that our children benefitted from being cared for by experienced professionals not just newly qualified nursery nurses. Staff turnover is low which demonstrated to us that the staff love working here and also brought reassurance that there is a combined wealth of experience and energy which brings with it a lovely sense of family; every child is an individual not just a number and their needs are treated as such. Both of our children have flourished at Ramillies. It’s a safe, leafy setting in which they have been able to develop their own little personalities through varied play and more formal teaching once in Early Years, which has prepared them well for School. They have also forged friendships with staff and children which have allowed them to thoroughly enjoy their time here! I can honestly say that in 4 years, we have never had any complaints and would whole heartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a home from home, loving environment. It’s a superb nursey and pre-school setting in which to entrust your most precious of gifts. Mr ands Mrs Parker My daughter has been to Ramillies since she was 10 months old. The decision to put her into childcare was not one I took lightly and everywhere we went to look around at first did not feel right. Upon having a guided tour and meeting Alison, from the baby unit, my whole outlook and opinion on nursery life changed. I could instantly sense the passion and commitment of the staff and felt that they embodied my parental style with a focus on: development, individual nurturing, manners and much more. Every steps of my daughter's journey has been guided, shared and cherish my the staff at Ramallies and I can honestly say that she is a richer, brighter and more resilient individual because of them. I am so thankful for the care and love the staff have shown to my child and could not recommended the provision highly enough. The staff are not just employees ; they are genuinely interested and motivated to support young people through every aspect of this precious stage of life. Thank you. Mrs E. Johnson "I have two children who go to Ramillies Nursery.  My daughter Sophie, started in 2014 and my son, Tom in 2016.  They both settled into the Nursery and loved it from day one, which was a blessing as I found having to go back to work both daunting and upsetting.  I knew they are well cared for and most importantly, happy.  What I thought was going to be a daily struggle was easy, they have both always run into nursery with no issues of leaving their mum behind.  Sophie will be leaving at the end of August this year and to say I am devastated is an understatement.  Thank you so much to Ramillies and all the wonderful staff for the care and education you have provided both Sophie and Tom." “Thank you so much for all the love and care that you have provided over the last year or so. My child has loved every minute and he will miss you so very much. Thank you for all your hard work and kindness. We shall forever look back so fondly over our years at Ramillies. Keep up the great work”. Our children LOVE Ramillies Hall Nursery. We couldn't have hoped for a more welcoming, friendly and enthusiastic nursery for our four and one year old. The open door policy make us feel reassured that should problems ever arise (which they haven’t), we’d be able to confidently communicate with staff about our concerns. All the staff from babies through to Early years and office staff have great relationships with all the children and have built up confidence in our own children. We would highly recommend Ramilles for a great start to social and educational development. Sam and Matt Jones At Ramillies Hall Nursery, we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children, in line with the duty placed on us by Section 157/175 of the Education Act, 2002. We expect and require all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We strongly believe that all children have the right to feel safe and to be protected from physical, sexual or emotional abuse and neglect.
