The Frederic Robinson family used to take a short walk to The Red Bull for a well-earned pint and catch up of the days event! The pub is situated a short walk from the town centre and only 6 miles from the Manchester City Centre, you really would struggle to be in a better position than The Red Bull. Quite nice spacious having a nice beer garden as well. You can play pool having a small pool board. The variety of craft beer is many in numbers. But if you go on a Sunday evening you are not lucky. If there is a football match you can visit the pub and watch the live match

Have not been here in a long time but when I worked in Stockport it was always a pleasant place to have a bevvy. My wife hadn't been there before and she loved it. Good old traditional boozer with nice feeling to it and furnishings that were easy on the eye and old fashioned. Even the toilets looked well smart and the tiles were a good idea. Pleasant outer seating area at the back and friendly staff and locals. Worth a visit if you are ever on Hillgate or at least I think that's where it is.

Only called in on the spur of the moment. Not visited for some time but still a great place for an evening out .Good selection on the bar. Plenty of seating good atmosphere.
