Fewer still can claim to have been so for over seven decades.Rothwells Super Travel is a name synonymous with quality service and reliability that has been a proud part of Heywood's history for over 70 years.The business was founded by George Ribchester way back in 1946. In 1952, he bought E Rothwell Ltd and then in 1961 he bought Smiths Coaches Tottington Ltd. George is in this picture standing in the doorway of the coach.To this day, Rothwells Super Travel is still owned and run by the Ribchester family. Rothwells Supertravel have a number of executive coaches available with an extra level of comfort for the discerning traveller. Relax in comfortable seats while watching a film in a comfortable, air-conditioned environment.Hot and cold drinks, reclining chairs, tinted windows and washroom facilities ensure our coaches cater to your every need. We are a friendly reliable family run coach company which deals with School contracts, Private hire, Day Excursions, European travel, corporate travel, holidays, sporting fixtures and lots more. All of our coaches are maintained to the highest standard with friendly experienced drivers. Our fleet ranges from 16 seat minibuses to 70 seat single deck coaches. We currently have 7 minibuses (up to 20 seats) , I midi 39 seat coach, 4 executive coaches (55 seater, 53 seater, 48 seater, 49 seater) 1 70 seat single deck coach and 1 double deck bus. Used rothwells for a day trip Our driver Danny is a credit to this company So friendly and helpful, looking after people that had disabilitys on the coach Very chatty polite young gentleman Would highly recommend using this company just for this driver alone If you have not used this company yet go have a look fantastic days out at great prices for a fab family day out
