We visited the garden centre and miniature railway over the weekend and called in the model shop to have a look. The staff were very helpful. My son purchased his very first railway set and he is very happy. We will be back in the future so he can add to his set.

So so disappointed came to visit the garden centre today for the brookside miniature railway charity event and decided to call into the model shop as my little boy loves his trains and I was looking for some 37 locos. On entering the shop the lady completely ignored us (not a massive deal I know) but when my little boy smiles the least you could do is smile back On leaving the shop she didn't help open the door so u was struggling out with a pram. I said bye and was completely ignored. Luckily the rest of the day was fantastic at the railway and garden centre. But unfortunately we won't be visiting this model shop in a hurry. A few other people were mentioning about the customer service/ lack of it. 2 stars as there was some great stock

what an amazing shop really well stocked with all sorts of models at competitive prices, i used their repair service for Hornby trains 3 trains ready in 36hrs first class service

Lovely little shop, I bought my first Hornby set from here a couple of years ago and been back a few times since (I don't live local). Service is always friendly and helpful, and they've got a good selection to choose from.
