Update to my previous review from 3 weeks ago. 7th July 2023 Abdul called me just now to say that they are not going to pay for the ongoing issues that have been found with the car I bought a month ago. The issues have been flagged from day one and they have tried to say these issues are normal wear and tear issues. Currently the issues are: 1. Leaking Coolant 2. Faulty brake vacuum sensor 3. Software faults 4. Heated car driver seat faulty Abdul said that unless I take down the review, they are not going to authorise payment for the remedial works. He went on to say that they only provide a 30 day warranty on gearbox and engine so legally they don’t have to do anything. I am absolutely appalled by this dealership as they have taken over £25000 from me and delivered a car that is sub standard and in breach of the Consumer Rights Act (2015). The Full-Service History is incomplete and car has not been serviced properly. I am now having to collect my faulty car from the garage they sent me to and start court proceedings. The dealership has blatantly broken the law the car and misrepresented through its advertising. The car was described as “Immaculate” A. The car has had several defects on the vehicle when it was sold including and not limited to: 1. Faulty and leaking Air Conditioning 2. Faulty Heated Unit on car seats 3. Issues with software I have told the dealership that I am legally entitled under the Consumer Rights Act (2015) to get the vehicle replaced or repaired or failing that, receive a refund for it. They have said they are not doing anything more with the car. I did email the garage to explain legally they have one chance to repair the vehicle fully and they have failed to do this. The CRA provides me protection up to six years from the date of purchase as they have breached my statutory rights. So, their point on 30 day warranty is inaccurate. I am without a car now, spent £25000 with the dealership and car is left with costly faults. I am outraged by the service. I explained to the dealership I am willing to continue to be reasonable and avoid litigation but cannot continue with the faults being unresolved. They have refused to spend anymore money on the car. The previous review I left when I bought the car is below: Last week Sedgely Group Advertised a S Class for £24995 with Full Service History, 1 Owner and Immaculate condition. The owner delivered the car from Manchester to me in Twickenham and told me again there is no issues with the car and was running late for a meeting . He met me over an hour later than was agreed. I was being rushed to inspect the car and I noticed that the car did not have a full service history and there was even a piece of paper handwritten with no garage details, no mileage and poor detail on the servicing. During the meeting it became evident that the car had 3 owners not 1 as advertised . When I drove the car home the following day was 29 degrees and the AC was blowing hot. Later on I realised the Collision Prevention Assist Plus was inoperative and the heated car seat is not working . I spoke with Zee and Abdul from the main dealer. Abdul said the heated car seat was not working because of a fuse and that I should go to a local garage to resolve . I went to two local garages because Abdul said main dealers cost too much and both garages said there is a fault with the car seat and it would need stripping . Abdul now wants me to go to a 3rd private garage and leave the car there , take time from my job and be left without a car. I am appalled by the service have spoken to my lawyer and trading standards and having to start the litigation process . The garage is refusing to put me in contact with the owner or remedy the situation themselves . They want me to do all the legwork having mis-described the car and not having serviced it properly .
