ThisThis is is a little gem of a barbers that I could be walking through the door literally 3 minutes from my home. The clientele appears to be mainly Muslim and of all ages. The owner is a lovely, friendly Pakistani gentleman who is always welcoming and gives a very good haircut (of various styles) for an extremely reasonable price going off what barbers not so far away are charging. I can honestly say that I would be really sad if Shalimar closed down for some reason and I intend to be getting my hair cut there exactly as I like it done for some time yet. If you live local to Shalimar give it a try you’ve nothing to lose but your hair (and your pocket won’t be as empty after paying for your haircut...)

This latest update to my original review was added today Saturday July 25, 2021: This latest update to my original review is being written only a few days after my latest fantastic haircut at Shalimar. Since my last haircut at Shalimar the assistant that Mohammed had taken on has left so Mohammed is now back to working by himself. Mohammed says he doesn’t mind not having someone else to share the work with but I feel really sorry for him and hope he gets another assistant soon so he isn’t rushed off his feet handling the shop when it gets really busy. One assistant who Mohammed trained did what I think was a really dirty trick, when Mohammed had trained him he left and opened his own barbers about 5 minutes away from Shalimar! I think was a really nasty trick to play but hopefully customers like myself will stay loyal to Mohammed and his lovely little shop where customers are always welcomed with a big smile by Mohammed and then have a fantastic haircut from Mohammed. IF YOU HAVEN’T VISITED MOHAMMED’S LOVELY LITTLE SHOP YET PLEASE DO AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS WHAT A FANTASTIC SERVICE YOU RECOMMEND FROM MOHAMAD BECAUSE HE DESERVES ALL THE CUSTOMERS HE CAN GET! This is an update to my previous 100% positive review regarding this fantastic little barbers run by a really nice chap called Mohamed. Mohamed gives a brilliant haircut, so good that if his shop ever closed permanently I doubt I would find anywhere as good! Mohamed runs his barbers in a way that many others could learn a lesson from... It made me sad when Mohamed had to close for so long during the last lockdown but I was glad to hear that he received financial help from the government. It now seems that Mohamed will soon have to close again after New Year, I’ve just had my hair cut because who knows how long Mohamed will stay closed... I hope Mohamed with have reopened by the time my hair needs cutting again because it grows really fast! 😂 I can’t recommend Mohamed’s little barbers highly enough to someone wanting an excellent, reasonably priced haircut in a lovely clean shop run by a very nice chap called Mohamad.
