Recently had a crash and chose solus bolton to do my repairs you can see on the bottom the state car was in I thought It would never be the same. But I was wrong because you can see in the second pic it looks brand new. The reason I'm writing a review isn't just because of the amazing work they did its because of the care they provided me with their over the top customer service I was getting regular update on my car and whenever I needed any questions answering the were able to answer them to the best of their ability. Paula and her team understand what the person who crashed is feeling thats why they are so attentive. She has a saying "we can fix cars but not people" which was able to give me some comfort. The courtesy car I received was a brand new fiat 500 I am 6ft which was a slight issue but it was fun to have a little manual again especially with the 50mpg it was getting. It was surprising spacious had car play drove it for around 2k miles it was growing on me. Unfortunately on the day I went to pick up my car I had an accident with the fiat 500 was at another low point but Paula was very understanding and so was her team I brought it to solus bolton. When I arrived I paid my excess for my car but wasn't prepared to pay the same excess for the courtesy car. Luckily they understood what matters is that I am safe and they gave me till after the fiat 500 got fixed to pay my excess for that. The best part is that I was able to pay the excess in parts allowing me to manage my finances. I know it was a long read but I wanted to thank the amazing team at solus for showing that there are people out there that care and understand which is very rare nowadays. If anyone has insurance with aviva look no further than solus bolton because they can fix anything and they can provide you with the care and attention you require.

My car was collected for repair due to a non fault accident to the rear of my vehicle. I was informed that due to previous damage it would require extra work but would look better than when it arrived. This was not the case as there was a large gap between the body panels. There was also scratches to the tail gate glass that wasn't there before the accident or when the car was collected. I sent the car back as soon as it was dropped off and was called by Solus to inform me there was nothing they could do about the panel gab and the scratch wasn't their fault They claim the scratch couldn't have happened in their warehouse as its clean and new however they admitted the bumper was scratched whilst it was waiting to be fitted so had to be returned to be polished out. The man I spoke to on the phone was well informed but argumentative and interrupted me when I tried to get my point my point across. It's clear that I'll never win an argument with this big company so now I'm stuck with a car in worse condition than before due to no fault of my own. Other reviews have also stated their vehicles have suffered extra damage whilst under the care of this centre I'll never use Aviva or Solus again in the future

The initial contact was with Coparts because there was an assumption that the car would be written off and this added two weeks to the repair time plus the Christmas break however once the car was designated as repairable, 2016 Audi A1 with 33k on the clock, then things began to move quite quickly. A loan vehicle was delivered and that was available until the vehicle was returned. When the car was returned one of the wings and the bonnet were out of alignment and there were scratches all along the rear quarter panel. This must have been caused by the company used to remove, store and assess the vehicle prior to it being delivered to Solus however there were no questions asked and the car went back for a further couple of days and was then collected from the workshop. The rear quarter panel had been repaired and another small adjustment made to the bonnet and it was good to go. Can't fault the quality of the workmanship, the updates, the willingness to repair additional damage caused by another third party and the overall impression was excellent. Each person that I talked to during the repair period was polite and willing to help. Hopefully we wont need to make another visit but I would be very happy to take my vehicle back to Solus should the need arise.

Used this company through my insurance. Came back with extra damage that wasn't there before. Reported before delivery driver left. They have denied this saying I have kerbed it. It must be a funny kerb as its underneath and down the side sill. Taken up with insurance company.
