Every morning, customers waiting outside store from 08:55am. Store doesn't open until 09:30am as per website info. So why isn't there a 'big clear visible 'sign in the front window to tell people SportsDirect is not open until 09:30am? Why have people congregating outside looking through the windows, tapping on the glass doors wanting to get in? Just keep the shutter down, customers might get the message that way!!

Went in to buy trainers , thought Sunday would be quiet, but it was full of families, the man on trainers was really helpful, knowledgeable and patient despite that he was clearly also training a younger member of staff and helping lots of others he still was patient and gave good advice.

I recently purchased a pair of football boots from Sport Directs, and I must say that my experience has been extremely disappointing. Within a week of using them, the boots completely fell apart, which unfortunately seems to be a recurring issue with this brand. I have purchased three pairs of football boots from them in the past, and none of them lasted more than a month. However, this latest purchase was the worst of all. I spent £70 on these boots, and they were definitely not worth the money. To make matters worse, the customer service at Sport Directs is abysmal. The manager and staff were incredibly rude and showed no concern for my issue. In fact, when I went to the store to file a complaint, the manager chased me away and even threatened to call the police if I didn't leave. It was a simple request to address the recurring problem of the boots not lasting, but they completely disregarded it. Furthermore, I was misled by a till worker last week who assured me that if there was a fault with my shoes within a month, I could bring them back and they would rectify the issue. This promise turned out to be false, as I was met with hostility when I attempted to seek assistance. Overall, I strongly advise against shopping at Sport Directs. From the unhelpful and rude staff to the poor quality products they sell, everything about this store feels fraudulent. Save your time and money by avoiding this establishment altogether.

*Please be sure that this would be a zero star review if this was an option* Just had the worst experience in Sports Direct, Trafford retail park. I have been going in for years and have always shown respect to workers, stock and the premises on every visit. I walked in to look at under armour t-shirts' for the gym and was commanded to leave, the staff were very dismissive and turned very argumentative when I attempted to ascertain to as to why. One of the workers even went on to childly come back with your mum jokes which is a total disregard for customer satisfaction and respect. I have attached reference pictures (with an uncanny resemblance) of the two staff members that have left a lasting negative impression due to their total disregard and prejudice towards me and most likely other customers in past present and future I believe action should be taken! (Please note the male has now grown a beard)

Changing room facility not adequate for a 2 story store. Also beware of Sports Direct consumers policy! I wanted to try 2 pairs of jeans which cost £70, they only have 1 changing room! I waited long enough so thought I’d try on at home and get refund if they don’t fit. The lady in front might have had the same thought as me as she also went to pay for clothing. But I found out (after asking) that there is no refund policy! Exchange or credit note only. Exchange would be an option but their stock size is limited, probably cost me to get it delivered from another store.
