Yesterday was my first visit to this wonderful pub with a great atmosphere. For me the excellent service from Mia was outstanding. The communication skills and the professional attitude from such a young member of staff left me feeling a sense of being heard, a sense of being valued as a customer. I can foresee a great future for Mia in the hospitality sector .

Under new ownership and really trying to rebuild its reputation. Decorating ready for Halloween and the beer offering was spot on

Only popped in for a non alcoholic beverage to cool myself down on a long walk on a hot evening, looked busy with people eating and drinking, would go back but would ask for tap water as the only water they had was in a glass bottle and was expensive in a place you shouldn't penalise people that go in and don't drink alcohol still come to a pub.

Went in for Sunday roast, awful. Pureed stuffing, lumpy mash (or smash), tinned marrowfat peas frozen vegetables & the tiniest bit of chicken. Oh, a Yorkshire pudding too soft & chewy. Came out covered in gravy as well as an extra jug, no doubt to disguise the food. No, I didn't complain but the man on the next table did.
