Welcome to the Parish of St. Margaret’s, Holyrood, Prestwich. We are a Church of England parish and have two churches, St. Margaret’s Prestwich, and St. George’s, which serves the community of Simister.

Our regular services (Sundays 9.45am and Wednesdays 10.00am) are live-streamed on our Facebook page. 

Pre-recorded services are posted on the Parish Blog, Facebook and Twitter, complete with words on-screen. Daily prayers and reflections are posted on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Remember – if you miss the “live” start time, don’t worry – the broadcasts will be available for you anytime at your convenience afterwards!

We will of course continue to pray and offer support and help to those in need. There is a parish WhatsApp group for prayer requests, and group prayer will happen via Zoom. Just contact us.

Worship is important because we seek to put God at the centre of our lives. Holy Communion is a high point of our shared life together as we deepen our relationship with God and grow in faith.

Fellowship is the way in which we show God’s love to each other by building up relationships, supporting and encouraging one another as we share our lives together.

Service is the way in which we put the gospel into action and share God’s love for our neighbourhood and the world around us.

We welcome all new members wherever they are on their faith journey and invite you to come and be part of our church community.
