COVID-19 STATEMENT

At Qualia Care, our primary concern is for the health and wellbeing of our residents. With this in mind, we are limiting visitors to our homes to essential personnel only. We are still welcoming new residents but have adapted the way we work to ensure we are following government guidance. As ever our friendly teams at each of our care homes are always happy to help and we invite you to get in touch.

St Mary’s is a peaceful and welcoming purpose-built care home offering high standards of kind and considerate nursing and residential care.

We have the distinction of being one of only two care homes in the country to have an onsite chapel, which welcomes both residents and members of the public.

Daily mass is streamed to each individual bedroom via a television link, enabling everyone to participate.

Our Services

St Mary’s provides quality nursing and residential care for those who need 24-hour personal support and for those with a condition that requires specialised nursing care, convalescence care for people recovering from surgery or illness, as well as kind and respectful palliative care.

Our dedicated staff are able to provide specialist care for people with Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson’s and those affected by stroke.

Our chefs take pride in getting to know the likes and dislikes of our residents and can cater to dietary and cultural needs. We serve a varied menu of delicious and nutritious home-cooked food made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.

We believe that keeping active is essential to residents’ wellbeing and strive to give purpose and enjoyment to every day. As such, our activities team provides a tailored activities and outings programme based on residents’ interests and preferences.
