With the huge renovation taking place throughout Stanley Square there is an exciting buzz and high expectations. New well known restaurants have moved into the area, artisan food and drink shops and a wide selection of cafes are now readily available and with more to follow in the very near future. What had gradually become a tired area is now becoming ‘the place to go’ and meet up with friends, a place to relax or chill out and even have a quiet bite to eat or drink. Without a doubt Stanley Square is on the up with bigger and better things becoming available. Looking forward to the future.

Convenient shopping all in one place. Now it has lots of trendy restaurants. The canopies just need to be added and then it will look the bees knees

Quiet today about 17.00, think people have had loads of time to shop already, a few new units opening up which is nice to see, a bit more varied than the usual shops. Went back today, not much improvement, uniform black frontage design, a bit like Altrincham. Even Boots looks just as tired and that's with a bit of a makeover.

The square shopping centre is a reasonable local shopping centre for a small town.has plenty of places for shopping and lunch.however it lacks some of the bigger branded shops and doesn't have the range compared with bigger or popular shopping areas.its good for basic shopping or quick visits.its also beginning to look dated.easy access for the disabled.there are a couple of carparks close by and good public transport links.
