I'm Howard the Chimney Sweep and owner of SureFire Chimney Sweep.
I love being a chimney sweep, meeting all my customers (and often their pets), ensuring their fires, burners and stoves are well maintained and safe for them to use and enjoy.
I am professionally trained, qualified and fully insured.
I am an accredited member of The Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps, one of the UK's largest chimney sweep organisations.
I am also trained and registered as a HETAS installer.
Based in Bolton and willing to travel across surrounding areas to meet all of your Chimney needs.

Damien Brook5 StarCan’t recommend Howard highly enough. Came into what was a messy unlined chimney that didn’t have the best access points and as a result hadn’t been done for some time. Not only did he do a decent job, there was little mess and he went out his way to install a new hatch so that there isn’t the same issues in future. Nicola Holland5 StarFabulous service, called at the last minute as we had a bird trapped somewhere in our woodburner; Howard was more than happy to attend. We thought we had one trapped bird in our chimney, safely rescued!....then Howard discovered a second bird, both jackdaws...both safely rescued....after a huge amount of effort. Amazing service and excellent prices, quality and service! Recommend 100%
