Sweet Somethings Vegan

I first started Sweet Somethings Vegan back in 2016 when I was nervously approaching cake makers to try and get across what I had in my head for my best friends birthday cake. It was a bit of a disaster; I was getting frustrated not knowing all the 'cake lingo' and what they were asking me, I didn't feel confident that they 'got it' and the quotes were pretty eye-watering. From then on I decided to strap an apron on and get to it myself so that I could bring to life all of those non-descript brain cakes and make people feel like they're in safe, friendly, 'got it' hands.

Myself and my now-husband are both vegan, so when we were planning our wedding, we wanted our cake to be vegan too. We found Carina at Sweet Somethings Vegan, and instantly knew she was the one for us! Carina sent some samples to our house (which were all incredible), and we had a zoom call to discuss what we wanted. Nothing was too big for Carina, and she listened to everything we had to say and advised on some things too. We are totally blown away with our cake, it's epic to say the least! Worth every penny, and tastes incredible. I can't recommend Sweet Somethings Vegan enough!

I was recommended Sweet Somethings Vegan for my wedding cake and I am so glad that I chose Carina! The cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted so good - we had SO many compliments on it! My friend ‘accidentally’ took home 20 slices… I’d recommend Carina to anybody for wedding/birthday/sweet treats.

Ordered a cake for my mum's 60th. Carina was great taking my requests and making this wonderful cake. It even looked great when the decorations were taken off as a great match to the Isle of Wight. The cake inside is Salted Caramel. Amazing!

I approached Carina a couple weeks before the event for a 50th. I put forward the Star Wars idea floating around my head and the result from Carina was amazing. The cake looked and tasted incredible. Everyone who saw it was amazed by it. Communication, ordering and collecting was so simple, efficient and professional. Would highly recommend to anyone who asked or is looking for a personalised cake - and even though it’s a vegan based company, I ordered due to a different dietary requirement and honestly, we couldn’t taste the difference between a regular cake and this vegan one. I ordered a large cake and 18 cupcakes for my daughters surprise 21st birthday party and they not only looked stunning but tasted so good! I don’t think I’ve ever been to a party where there wasn’t any cake left at the end - that’s how good they were! Highly recommend Sweet Somethings Vegan and will see you again! Thank you! 🧁
