The Danceworks Ballet & Theatre School

Based in Eccles, Greater Manchester, The Danceworks offers a range of classes covering all aspects of theatre and performing arts. 

Whether you want to learn ballet or tap, street dance or singing, we have numerous classes and genres suitable for all children aged 2+

For those wanting to progress through exams, we offer classes in RAD Ballet, ISTD Tap and Modern as well  as LAMDA drama exams, advancing up to vocational level. We also offer non-exam classes in a range of dance genres including jazz, contemporary, street and commercial along with gymnastics, singing and piano.

As well as exams, we also have an elite programme for those wanting to pursue a career in the theatre industry.  Members of our elite programme regularly take part in a number of competitions locally and nationally. In recent years our students have travelled and competed abroad in the Dance World Cup, achieving multiple medals. 

We have had many students advance onto further training and very successful careers. We currently have ex-students performing on Princess Cruises, Costa Cruises and also touring with ‘Jamie the Musical’.
