Had a new fire fitted today. Fitters we’re excellent tidied after themselves and very polite, courteous and friendly. Ben and Kirsty were so helpful in the showroom would definitely recommend Heat depot if looking at new fires.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Ben helped us pick the perfect burner out of huge number they have on display in the showroom (which we would happily move into.. well smart!). Kirsty came to measure up shortly after we placed the order for two different spots in our house as we weren’t sure where best to put the new burner. The guys turned up bang on time this morning as planned. Dermot and “dereck” 😂 were very polite and have done a fantastic job. We absolutely love our new burner and have already started to reckoned friends and family. Jenny and Tyla

Just had a call with Kirsty who was absolutely FANTASTIC dealing with some pretty tricky issues. Outstanding product knowledge and service level and is coming out to measure up next week. She’s a huge credit to the company! I will update the review when the job is complete with some photos!

Please be very careful about using this company. I bought a wood stove from them supplied and fitted. However, they failed to register the installation with HETAS and because of this my stove is practically worthless and no stove engineer will service it. Additionally my home insurance is invalid. Nightmare experience! When I complained about the failure to register with HETAS, they told me they would register the stove but only if I paid them an extra £350. I expect you could find a more reliable company than this and get the job done properly. EDIT, in response to reply. They don't seem to care that my home insurance is invalid and they're responsible because they failed to do their job and register my stove. That's the kind of people they are. They heard about it when I found out it was unregistered, eight years later. That's eight years unknowingly using an unregistered stove thanks to The Heat Depot because they lost the paperwork. Unprofessional and unpleasant to deal with. Furthermore, I use solid fuel, because a) that's what my stove is designed to use and b) I live in a smokeless fuel area. You know this. I left another review because you seem to trade under several different names, no doubt to try to launder your past transgressions. Buyers beware!

I couldn't recommend the guys @ The Heat Depot enough. From our initial consultation at their amazing Middleton showroom, they understood what we wanted for our fireplace refurbishment perfectly and shared a genuine passion to do a great job. We had been stung previously by a company who had installed our double-sided log burner so we couldn't wait for the transformation. I have attached a before and after picture which hopefully justifies the change, just need to do the decorating now!
