Warm and friendly welcome from the staff here at The Joshua Bradley, plenty of seating indoors and out. The pricing of the drinks was reasonable and service was efficient. I would certainly visit again and try the food menu as from what I saw it looked amazing. The Bluebell Suite had a well staffed bar area and space indoors and out for the wedding reception that I attended. It was well positioned and decorated for the occasion. Should you need a room/venue for hire this could be a good option as it is well situated between various places of you have guests coming from different areas of the Stockport and Hyde regions.

The Joshua Bradley is a well known restaurant in between Stockport and Hyde. I have eaten there many times and have always found the staff friendly, the food good, and the surroundings pleasant. I was there recently having lunch with some former colleagues who, like myself, are now retired. Many people were seated outside in the pleasant garden area, we had a table inside. The inside of the restaurant is very traditional. It was a lovely venue to meet up with old friends.

For the prices charged for fish and chips, I was expecting spectacular...it wasn't. The very chunky chips were just cooked through and anaemic as anything. The fish was lovely, just not very big and the portion of mushy peas was tiny. Dessert of cherry and waffle was tasty other than the waffle was like rubber and I honestly thought it was going to defeat me cutting through it. The staff were all lovely but it doesn't make up for the distinctly average food. I've had better at 'Spoons.

Sticky tables let this down. The place itself is beautifully decorated so was amazed at the dining experience. I thought it was a bit expensive for what we got. A few cooked frozen fries and a burger without a lettuce leaf to brighten the plate made it a dull looking meal. I won't go back.

Had the lunch time set menu. The food was great, the service was excellent and great value for money. With soft drinks and tip £20 a head.
