Augusta Ik1 StarI paid £400 for 6 hours, 75 chair and cleaning.
After 4 hours, the staff started taking off the table clothes and chairs. This was really embarrassing for my guests, because they made it look like we paid for only 4 hours.
The staff went ahead to ask us to clean up our tables and take the rubbish along with us, even though they charged us extra £50 for cleaning.
I paid an additional £150 as deposit as requested. 3 weeks later, nobody contacted me for me refund. I called them, and they said, the tape used in sticking the balloons damaged their drape and Tripod stand, so they won’t be refunding my £150.
I’ve heard of event halls doing this, but i didn’t expect this from a community centre.Wednesday 23rd March 2022
