Welcome to The Railway, situated opposite Hale railway station in the centre of this popular village. A truly traditional pub in the heart of Hale with a fantastic hidden patio boasting outside TVs. The place to be to catch the match and enjoy a refreshing pint. Enjoy a pint of Robinsons well-kept beer or a glass of wine during a leisurely lunch in this fine traditional pub. Extremely popular with locals, we cater for all age groups. Our fantastic hidden courtyard to the rear of the pub is always busy when weather permits, and all major sports events are shown live on the large flat screen TV’s.

Fabulous little find. We were staying at a an airport hotel and had a drive into Hale for something to eat . Pie was Great north pies £6 absolute steal for this fabulous food x

The Railway has been our Friday night early doors spot for years. There's always a good selection of beers. The staff are always friendly. Alan has done a great job of keeping The Railway as a good old fashioned boozer.

Lively local Robinsons pub which has football and rugby on TV screens in every room. Locals are friendly and the pub is very well patronised. The Dizzy Blonde is well kept and the Guinness was on form too
