Amazing meal here. The all day breakfast calzone was incredible. Tasted really fresh with the red onion and tomatoes and presented superbly. The beer battered mushrooms, I could eat all day. The app is relatively easy to use (a bit laggy). My only complaints, starters arriving with the main and having to ask for cutlery. Will I be back... tomorrow to try the carvery. If it matches the quality of today, I'll be e extremely happy.

Despite the refurbishment, the service and the quality lack. We booked a table online and got a confirmation, but nothing was ready when we got there. There were no straw; we had to share 3 napkins amongst six people. I ordered a Halloumi wrap but was surprised to get a chicken wrap. This would have been an issue if I were vegetarian. The margarita pizza was the best bit.

Had breakfast here. I would describe it as average. I went on a Tuesday, it wasn't very busy but more came in as the day went on. It's a buffet style breakfast. The food is precooked so bacon, sausages, eggs, beans and chopped tomatoes are on display. Mushrooms are charged extra for some reason. I feel this reduces the final quality of the food provided. The bacon was dry, the eggs were hard. No doubt if the place was busy the quality would improve because of a quicker change over. The big advantage here is you can stack your plate as high as you like. Personally I prefer a smaller breakfast cooked to order but then its each to their own. There's also unlimited coffee on offer.

Great value restaurant and pub. Plenty of space between tables. Plenty of choice on the carvery menu and lots of other alternative goodies such as burgers, fish and chips, pizza and sweets. Also an option to upgrade your carvery meal to a larger size, with pigs in blankets no less. I recently tried a takeaway carvery, it's brilliant how it is packed in sealed containers and it's just as good eaten at home. I haven't tried the early breakfast, but I am sure that it will be just as good as the lunch and evening menu. Nice clean venue with good free parking facilities. Great for an early tea. Go in about 2.30, eat and drink, back home for five, have a snooze, then kettle on just in time for the soaps. Can it get any better? The good life all in Swinton to boot. Come on pensioners treat yourselves. *UPDATE* 20 August 2022 Just tried the breakfast. As I expected it was very substantial, very tasty, with lots of choice! Full up! Enough said.

Not a good visit unfortunately, I found the Carvery had dried out food on it and no turkey on offer, only beef and gammon, plus note is the staff were nice thou hence 2 not 1 stars … visited Friday 1/7/22
