The Roebuck is a bright and airy food pub in Urmston, Trafford. Dating back to the early 1900s, the building is spacious and welcoming with a large bowling green and beer garden at the back. Inside there’s a large area for dining, plus a vault on one side of the bar for those just looking for a drink.
The extensive food menu has something for everyone, including your pub classics cooked to perfection, as well as salads, pastas and vegan options and more. Being a family-friendly pub, we of course serve up traditional roast on a Sunday. At the bar we have a carefully crafted gin & rum menu, plus award-winning lagers and cask ales, bottled beers and wines.
There’s always something going on at the Roebuck, including a weekly pub quiz, comedy nights, live music and other events all year round. With Sky Sports and BT Sports, the pub is also a great place to watch live football and other major sporting events.

Bill Curtis4 StarWe went to the Roebuck to see and support the bootleg line dancers, doing some line dances for charity, the staff were brilliant, so we decided to have a meal with a couple of friends, the meal was great , the only thing what I could not understand was the bill , when you look at the menu you think that is the price you pay is the price on the menu , but there are little notes saying there is a £3 supplement on steak, so I would advise anyone eating there too read the menu.
Stephanie/ Chris ( Manager) and the other staff where great ,
It's a great pub and great atmosphere, just the billing system needs tobe simplified in my opinion.Saturday 26th August 2023
Jack5 StarThe food here is absolutely excellent. It is one of the few pubs I can recommend as seeming like they care about the food the kitchen puts out. I can thoroughly recommend the steak, onion and pepper baguette, which was prepared as though the chef really cared about the food he was making. The nachos were something special - I'm unsure if the tortillas were actual cut up tortillas or some kind of pastry, but one thing is certain and that is that they weren't out of a foil bag! They were topped with plenty of relish, cheese and soured cream also, enough that everyone can have a bit of everything right through to the end. One of my favourite local spots.Monday 12th June 2023

Steve5 StarGreat food . Excellent Sunday roast large portions . Waiting staff need to be more attentive. As having to call them to order drinks and food seem to be a bit off-putting.Sunday 23rd April 2023
