amanda hughes5 StarWe’ve had a few takeaways in the past and all been great. But last Tuesday we visited to celebrate my mums life. I cannot express how great full I am. It was short notice and the buffet was fantastic. All who gathered loved the food. The staff we’re fantastic. Thank you all. I’ll be in for a meal instead of a takeout!Sunday 6th March 2022

As we were waiting at the bar to be served the food coming out of the kitchen smelt great so we asked the girls on the bar for a quick look at the menu.
The staff were brilliant, we asked them if they could stick the F1 on for us and they did straight away. We were indecisive as to whether to order food or not but one of the girls talked us round, we had a laugh and a bit of banter with her.
The food arrived promptly & was homely, freshly cooked & tasty pub grub, all for a reasonable price. Highly recommend the Sunday Lunch & the Cheese & Onion Pie. Looking forward to our next visit already.Sunday 3rd July 2022
Peter Little1 StarTerrible! What a shame that Google Reviews is not up to date. The current owners are apparently leaving and it shows. Poor service all round, in what once would have been a lovely hotel.
As of today I have revised my review downwards. The attempt to make it look like they cared by the response from owner has backfired because no attempt has been made to contact me. Not only have they got a rubbish review from me, but their couldn't care less attitude says it all...Thursday 23rd June 2022
Andrea Wallis5 StarThe food was lovely. We had carrot and coriander soup, red pepper humous and pitta bread for starters.
Steak and ale pie that was so full of meat the fork stood up in it, chips and veg.
Halloumi skewers that were massive, skin on fries and red cabbage slaw.

Sheona Macrae4 StarWe stayed in one of the rooms upstairs. Nice bedrooms, better than expected! Beds were really comfy. Bathrooms seem a little unfinished/in need of some touch ups. Food excellent, great service.Sunday 27th February 2022
