It is served in the best room in the house with beautiful mullion windows overlooking our beautiful garden and views of Kinder Scout. Breakfast starts with a good selection of cereals, juice, fresh fruit and yogurt followed by a full English breakfast cooked to order including vegetarian other dietary requirements can also be catered for. The Waltzing Weasel Bed and Breakfast is well located for exploring the Peak District and the Derbyshire Dales. Whether you would like to walk up Kinder Scout or Lantern pike or visit some local attractions we are ideal situated. Just 5 miles from Lyme Park, 12 miles from Buxton, 22 miles from Chatsworth House and the Blue John Caverns and Castleton are just 9 miles away. The Waltzing Weasel is just 20 miles from central Manchester. Manchester Airport is 21 miles away. We have always had excellent hygiene standard but have taken extra steps to ensure all areas are sanitised, cleaned and compliant. We have put these measures in place in the hope that you are reassured that we will be working hard to make your stay with us as lovely and safe as possible and in the best interest of all. A6 Newtown (approx 2 miles) Turn off the A6 Buxton to Manchester Road at Newtown signposted for New Mills (opposite the Swan Inn). At traffic lights go straight through. Sign posted Hayfield continue along Hayfield Road onto New Mills Road carry on pass the Grouse and we are situated 200 yards on the left hand side of the road.

We have had a great stay at the Waltzing Weasel. Great location surrounded by a beautiful scenery. The rooms were quiet, clean and very comfortable. Linda (Carol) took wonderful care of us. The breakfast was simply amazing and set us off to a great start of the day! We will definitely be staying at the Waltzing Weasel again. Thanks for a great time!

Very warm welcome from Carol when we arrived at guest house. Great comfortable rooms bed and shower. Tea and coffee in the room Carol gave us fresh milk nice touch. Breakfast full English was amazing juice fruit salad and toast tea and coffee. Such a friendly guest house and of course lovely cst Smudge little sweetie. We would love to stay here again in the future thanks again.

Has a fantastic one night stay here. Rooms were spacious, comfy and well equipped. Very pleased there was an array of teas in the room including decaf. Breakfast was lovely and hot and freshly cooked. Host was lovely and very helpful.
