helen duffy5 StarBooked Father’s Day lunch for 6 people. Nothing was too much trouble for the extremely polite staff from the moment we arrived. Food was prompt and absolutely delicious! We had a variety of starters from the Father’s Day menu and everyone thoroughly enjoyed them. The roast pork Sunday lunch was the best we’ve had; compliments to the chef! We will definitely be making this a regular place to eat as we can’t wait to sample the other dishes on the menu. Well done to all!Sunday 19th June 2022
Caroline Bamber5 StarWOW! This is one of the best meals I’ve ever had and I eat out often! The menu is full of choice and there are daily specials too. I went for the chicken Caesar salad then the Jammy dodger cheesecake as you can see both were beautifully presented. Taste and portion size were perfect too. I had a few mouthfuls of pineapple crumble that was to die for too. Definitely worth a ride to this lovely refurbished pub.Wednesday 25th May 2022

Food of high quality with great flavours and good choice. We had the pork and the Hake. The Hake had a lovely texture and soft flavour.
Accompanying veg and sauces tasty and varied.
The desserts of Pineapple Crumble and Lemon Possett a perfect finish. Liked the twist on the crumble using pineapple and as a apple crumble person would find it a very difficult choice if offered both.

James Cooper5 StarWe used to eat at the White Horse quite a lot before it shut down. I’ve been up a couple of times since it re-opened and it’s been great both times. Staff were amazing and the food even better. Love what the new chef has done with the menu. High quality, homemade meals which are packed with flavour. Can’t wait to go back.Thursday 7th April 2022
