Poor customer service! Truly feel let down by the salon!! My appointment has been cancelled due to some silly policy that requires you to patch test despite me being a regular customer. Ridiculous!!

Best experience ever in a hairdressers. Loved the massage chair. Phill did a great colour. I went darker on his recommendation and the result was spot on

I had booked a hair colouring appointment for my birthday week a month in advance.Inspite of checking with them the weekend before in person.They called me to cancel my appointment an hour before stating colour tests have to be done 2 weeks before appointment which was never told me a week before when I visited them. The Manager also didn't come on the phone when I requested to speak to them. Very poor service, ill organisation and there was no attempt made to resolve the situation. Wouldn't recommend at all. You have responded stating you have a 48 hrs policy of colour test why was that informed an hour before the appointment and not checked 48 hrs before. When I visited a week before they didn't mention it. Don't make excuses and hide behind policies.Accept that you messed it up

Usually I'm not one to write bad reviews but I am really not happy with my results. Got a full head of highlights and keratin done on separate days. I wanted natural blonde highlights that can grow out looking more natural, what I got was patchy, partly yellow highlights with a very visible line by my roots which will not ever grow out naturally and just look like I bleached the whole top of my head poorly. Also the roots are lighter than ends. Very natural. I was offered to go over the roots again if I didn't get used to it. I did not take him up on it and will get it fixed somewhere else. My keratin treatment was also very different from what I imagined. I had researched a little into this prior and apparently they do it differently here. Got half my hair ripped out while it got brushed, it was very painful, unnecessary and damaging for the hair. No change even after I said it was painful. I have a high pain tolerance when it comes to brushing since my hair is naturally curly, but this was next level! OUCH!!! The actual straightening to get the product into the hair was very short and so random with sections that in my opinion were way too big. But what do I know, I'm not a professional, he must know what he's doing. The whole process took 4 hours at least, it was not enjoyable. Either I was sitting and waiting or my hair was pulled out of my head. In the end I had to pay 250 pounds, I was initially told it was 200 when I made the appointment, which is why I even choose to do it, at 250 pounds never. In the end I was forced to pay it by the manager (who earlier dried her armpits with a blowdryer in front of the clients in the salon... professional?), not in a very friendly way. I left my hair untouched and unwashed for over 48h as recommended and it's been now more than three washes later (with the recommended shampoo and conditioner) and I see no result. Maybe it's a little softer but that could be due to olaplex shampoo and conditioner, but the frizz is still there. Not sure if it was because of the random and poor straightening and blowdrying. What a waste of money and time. Overall, I spent more than 400 pounds and 8 hours on highlights and treatments. The results were not satisfying. I will not be coming back, I am truly shocked at the service I got and did not feel like I was taken seriously. I've been to other Toni and Guy salons before, they were great but this one sadly wasn't. (The two women who gave me a cut and then the other time dried my hair were great, no complaints at all, you were wonderful.) Overall, for over 400 pounds I expected more or at least to be listend to. I wish I had stood my ground more and not let them convince me that the job was well done when I was clearly unhappy. Long story short I'm still upset weeks after as this were by far the worst salon visits I have ever experienced. I am sure there are some very capable professionals at the salon, maybe I just caught an off day, twice.

I had Keratin Smoothening done at Toni & Guy 1 week ago. The results are aweful. Just after first wash the hair quality is back to normal with frizz and feels the same texture as it was before the treatment. I don’t have very frizzy hair and was expecting the results to last longer as I had smoothening before as well with awesome results. But with Toni & Guy I don’t see any difference in the hair, the results are not good when you look at the price they are charging. Paid £301 for smoothening and haircut and it feels like I just had a HAIR SPA and nothing much at such a heavy price. Not at all happy and would definitely not recommend for smoothening. Waste of time and money.
