Called at the start of the week asking to view a VW Golf, dealer said that he was going away on holiday for the week and would call on Saturday when he returned. Received no contact so called again on Monday saying that we were available any time that day. Dealer asked us to come at 1 p.m. We traveled over 120 miles (2.5 hours) to view the car only for the dealer to leave a voicemail at 12.50 when we were about to arrive, saying that he had just sold the car to someone else. Very disappointed with the whole ordeal, especially after being so patient waiting for a week when other cars could have been sold. Would not recommend wasting your time or trusting this dealer and have become doubtful of the quality of the service that would have been offered had our appointment been honored. Would give 0 stars if possible.
