On behalf of the incredible pupils, talented staff, supportive community and dedicated Governors I would like to welcome you to Whitefield Community Primary School.

Whitefield Community Primary School sits in the heart of our community and has approximately 170 pupils on role. We are a small, caring school, with a strong sense of community, we strive to offer the very highest standards in education, nurture and experience for our pupils. The school serves a richly diverse community, preparing our children for the diverse world we live in.

Our door is always open and we are always willing to accommodate visitors to our school, wherever possible. The adults at our school ensure our learning environment is engaging and challenging whilst also being: caring, carefully structured and supportive. Our classrooms are places which allow our children to flourish and which prepare them for their future. We offer the very highest standards in education while also ensuring that our children maintain awe and wonder of the world, alongside a sense of adventure and enthusiasm for learning…for life! We are enormously proud of our Forest School, which allows our children to develop their learning outside of the classroom, supporting their mental health and well-being, alongside a rich and varied curriculum. We believe that this is a fundamental part of supporting children in developing them as resilient, confident, independent, creative learners who are active citizens and impact change for the better. 

A vital part of our school is our relationships with parents and carers. We work together to ensure that every voice is heard, any concerns are taken seriously and dealt with swiftly, and that together we achieve the very best for every child of Whitefield. We operate an open door policy and parents are encouraged to share any ideas and suggestions, or concerns and worries.

I am extremely proud to be the Headteacher of this incredible school so that together we can inspire all learners, to follow their dreams to achieve without limits!
