Our teachers sparkle with passion and enthusiasm delivering bespoke learning experiences for each individual child’s needs. We believe in the power of play, nurturing their little hands and big hearts, to enable them to grow their wings and fly off to the next stage of their learning journey.
Within our rooms, spaces are created for the children to try different activities and experience a wide range of stimulating tasks covering all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Our garden is accessible through our main pre school room and the children are able to play outside rain or shine!
Every child is allocated a Key Worker, who spends time building a relationship, observing and monitoring the key developmental stages and being the point of contact for the parents / carers. External, qualified teachers also come into pre school on set days to carry out additional lessons; including Sports, Eco Warriors and Language classes, which the children really enjoy.

Effie Jessop5 StarI am struggling to accept that my time as a Willowtree parent is coming to an end after 4 years of having kids here! My son started aged 2.5 and stayed through til Reception and my daughter started at 2 and has stayed til Reception age too. I vaguely considered sending my daughter to the school nursery - it is highly thought of and would have been much easier for drop off and pick ups, but there's no way it could top Willowtree. Both my children loved every single day they spent here: loads of time spent out in the garden, truly play focussed, friendly staff who tend to stick around for a good length of time and are genuinely fond of the children, good mix of activities (particularly eco warriors and Sports). Updates about what they've been up to are good, through facebook group, tapestry journal and reports, as well as chit chat at pick up (COVID restrictions allowing!) If the 2 o'clock end time is something you can in any way work with then I suggest Willowtree over and over again.Sunday 18th July 2021

Vanessa Shaw5 StarMy Daughter has had an amazing time at Willow Tree preschool. The staff are second to none. What more can a mother ask for than her child is looked after in a home from home environment with staff who care for the children like theyes are their own. The child are always busy getting very hands on and having a great time. I would highly recommend to anyone. So glad it was recommend to me.Sunday 16th July 2017
Kate Towey5 StarMy son attended Willow Tree and I can not recommend it enough. It provides a wonderful, nurturing environment for the children to play and develop within. The setting is big with open access to outdoor space and the staff are a lovely and have a lot of experience between them of caring for pre-school children.Tuesday 22nd November 2016

With it's warm, friendly, welcoming atmosphere and wide range of activities, children thrive and grow receiving a great start to their early education. Both my boys have attended Willow Tree Pre School and have loved every minute - the eldest graduated in the summer to start Primary School very confident and ready to start the next stage of his education. My youngest still attends and can not wait to get there in the mornings to get stuck into the crafts / baking / sports / sining etc. they have planned for the day! :)Tuesday 6th October 2015
