We will continue to develop each child’s cultural capital & babies are encouraged to play in both a sensory and physical way concentrating on the prime areas of learning. Lots of floor time is given to young babies to help develop strong muscle tone and physical skills. Heuristic play and treasure baskets are used daily and this has a positive effect on early development, using their environment as the 3rd teacher.  Our room for  two year old's  acts as the 3rd-teacher,  giving many opportunities for child led learning and staff teach children through play, all planning is in the moment with instant next steps. We use open ended resources to develop imagination and creative thinking and we believe strongly in making learning fun for children. Each child’s cultural Capital is always taken into consideration as staff plan carefully to open up a variety of new experience and learning opportunities. We believe children are capable learners and we expect our rooms to act as the 3rd-teacher. Staff are skilful at developing children’s learning, they use open ended questions and encourage children to reflect and hypothesize when experimenting and exploring.  Children are encouraged to be creative and we actively encourage free expression. .  Project based activities are used to develop children’s interest and take learning to the next level. Staff have a clear intent on what they would like children to learn and this is implemented in a way that engages children, develops curiosity and has a clear impact of their learning and development, each child’s cultural Capital is always taken into consideration as staff plan carefully using the Reggio Emilia Approach to learning. They promote collaboration with other nurseries to share exemplary practice. My daughter attends this nursery and loves it! Sometimes she is reluctant to go (aren't they all?!) But come home time she tells me she isn't leaving, which shows me how much fun she is having! Delilah loves being outdoors, so the outdoor inspired setting is perfect for her (she regularly brings me a pile of sand in her boots). It is well laid out and it looks like they have lots to do. I often find her outside in the garden having fun with lots of little friends regardless of the weather. The staff are always there to greet her in the morning and help her settle (a quick mention of food and she is off!). My only niggle is communication between the nursery and parents, i literally have no idea what she does during the day or if she is learning anything and i often don't know what she has eaten, not a huge issue but it would be nice to know.

Very good nursery would definitely recommend my little boy as special needs SEN and is delayed in his learning the nursery have been amazing with my little boy and are very supporting and helpful my little boy loves coming to nursery enjoys playing and having fun
